Thank you for your interest in joining the Four Rivers Charter Public School Crew! At
Four Rivers we are guided by the motto that We Are Crew Not Passengers. As an
inclusive public secondary school, we are organized in three divisions and serve
students in grades 7-12. We are a credentialed EL Education school with a focus on
expeditionary learning, including guiding students in character building, mastering
knowledge and skills, and producing high quality work. Connections and relationship
building that provide a sense of belonging and agency are cornerstones of our mission.

We invite you to explore our website, social media, and come visit our school to learn
more about how students experience being part of our crew. We understand that
families and students have options as to where they want to work and learn and what
type of educational experience they want to have. A lot goes into the decision and we
want to offer multiple opportunities to learn as much as you need to inform this

As a free charter public school in Massachusetts, our open enrollment is based on a
random public lottery system held annually in February.

We are now accepting applications for grades 7 – 12 for the 2024-2025 school year.
